What ZNDT does on Stripe

ZNDT is a marketplace platform for small business merchants in US coastal and tourism-adjacent markets. On Stripe, we help individual merchants accept card payments from their customers.

This page describes specifically what ZNDT processes through our Stripe Connect account. ZNDT may operate additional product lines on other payment infrastructure; those are outside the scope of our Stripe relationship and not processed on Stripe rails.

What we process on Stripe

Customer-to-merchant card payments. Every transaction processed through our Stripe Connect account is a customer paying an individual merchant for that merchant's own goods or services. Payments route directly to the merchant via Stripe Connect Express destination charges. ZNDT takes a transparent platform fee and never custodies merchant funds.

Who our Stripe merchants are

Merchant category Typical transaction
Cafés and small food vendors$5 – $25
Gyms, yoga studios, fitness instructors$20 – $100
Surf schools and lesson-based instructors$50 – $150
Small coastal and lifestyle retailers$10 – $100
Independent local service providers$30 – $150

Average transaction across the Stripe-processed portion of the platform: $20 – $40. All merchants on Stripe are US-based small businesses.

How a payment flows

  1. Merchant onboards via Stripe Connect Express with full KYC verification by Stripe.
  2. Customer browses the merchant's profile in the ZNDT app.
  3. Customer pays via card through the merchant's checkout.
  4. Funds route directly to the merchant's bank via Stripe Connect Express destination charges.
  5. ZNDT takes a transparent platform fee (3.5% + $0.50 per transaction; fee structure may vary by jurisdiction or merchant category).
  6. Merchant gets settled on Stripe's standard schedule. ZNDT never custodies funds.

Scope of our Stripe relationship

To be clear about what we use Stripe for, ZNDT's Stripe Connect account is not used to process:

Our Stripe usage is scoped to: a customer paying a US-based small merchant for goods or services that merchant directly provides.

Tools we provide to merchants

Beyond card acceptance, ZNDT gives merchants software tools to run their day-to-day operations:

These are operational software tools. They are not regulated financial activities and do not involve Stripe.

Where we are

ZNDT is in pre-launch pilot phase. We have processed one $2 test transaction through our Stripe Connect integration to validate the technical setup. We are using this pre-launch window to ensure our compliance posture is solid before onboarding production merchants.

Pilot launch: Summer 2026, beginning with 10–20 small merchants in US coastal markets (California, Florida, Carolinas, Hawaii).

Compliance posture

ZNDT operates on Stripe as a marketplace under Stripe Connect Express. Each merchant maintains their own Stripe-vetted Connect account. We comply with Stripe's marketplace guidelines and Restricted Businesses policies for everything processed through Stripe. We do not custody merchant funds, do not facilitate peer-to-peer transfers on Stripe, and do not onboard merchants outside the US on Stripe.
